With the Sunny Boy Smart Energy, SMA not only produces its own compact storage system, but also has two proven AC storage system managers in its portfolio: the SB Storage 2.5 and the Sunny Island. These are compatible with the Mercedes-Benz energy storage, the BYD B-Box or the LG RESU series. The Sunny Island can be used as a 48 V system with lead-gel as well as lithium-ion batteries and even as a 3-phase system.
